EARTO Annual Confernce 2021 - "ΕU Technology Sovereignty: Finding the Right Balance Between Global Competition & Collaboration"
Europe must push the research and innovation agenda with a balance between market evaluation and sufficient investments in breakthrough fundamental research. There is a golden complimentarity among doing research and innovation for business and for academic excellence. Finding it, will not only increase the value of European taxpayer’s money invested in research and innovation , but also reduce are interdependencies with third countries and thus increasing our technological sovereignty, among others.
